Resource Manager - Legal and / or Big Four Background

About the Role

Are you an experienced Resource Manager looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-performing environment? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading international law firm for a pivotal role within their Disputes and Investigations group.

As a Resource Manager, you'll work closely with partners and associates to ensure the efficient allocation of lawyers across high-profile cases, including High Court matters, regulatory investigations, arbitration's, and cross-border disputes. This is your chance to optimise workflows, balance competing priorities, and play a key role in supporting career progression goals for legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement resource management strategies to ensure timely and efficient work distribution.
  • Build trusted relationships with partners and associates to understand practice needs and individual preferences.
  • Proactively identify resource shortages or imbalances and create mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular utilisation reports and data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Resolve resource allocation conflicts while balancing client requirements and lawyer development objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to support career progression initiatives for legal staff.
