Belmont Recruitment are working with a client who are looking for Stalking Advocates within the Lambeth and surrounding areas for positions on a full-time basis, the positions are ideally looking for candidates with experience of providing advocacy, or working previously within an advocacy role/working with people affected by violence and harrassment (experience of working with stalking clients or within a stalking role isn't required, this is provided within training).

The overall purpose of the role is to provide expert advise and advocacy to victims of stalking, this will include giving information by telephone, email and face to face to men and women affected by stalking, you will also be required to provide casework support and advocacy to victims of stalking, and liaise with both voluntary and statutory services to ensure positive outcomes for victims.

The position is full time, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm but there is requirement rota'd in for working the helpline which will require an 8am start of occasion, the role will include advocacy work, duty work and also helpline work.

The first 3 months of the position will be office based to support induction and integration with the service, after this a blended model of 40% office, 60% home-working will be implemented.

This is ideally a permanent, salaried position of 30,135.
