We are seeking a Supervising Solicitor with expertise in Housing or Community Care Law to join a charity based in SW London providing legal advice it's clients.

This role is ideal for a professional who is capable of supervising two staff members and has a solid understanding of the sector, with experience in CCMS and Legal Aid being advantageous but not essential.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee and manage the performance of two team members, ensuring high-quality legal service delivery.
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation in the areas of Housing or Community Care Law.
  • Engage in case preparation, including conducting legal research and drafting documents.
  • Supervise the handling of cases from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, offering them legal advice and support throughout their cases.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant law and any changes to legislation that may impact the practice area.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in Housing or Community Care Law.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor staff effectively.
  • Strong understanding of CCMS and Legal Aid processes is preferred.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
