We are a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Tower Hamlets seeking a dedicated Pastoral Coordinator to join our student support team. This is a vital role at the heart of our school, focused on ensuring every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality pastoral care to students across all year groups

  • Work closely with Heads of Year, safeguarding leads, and SEN teams to support student wellbeing

  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and external agencies

  • Monitor attendance, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing data to identify and address barriers to learning

  • Support with restorative conversations, mentoring, and positive behaviour strategies

  • Lead or assist in initiatives promoting mental health, personal development, and inclusion

Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience working with young people in a pastoral, youth work, or educational setting

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills

  • Calm, compassionate, and solution-focused under pressure

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour management

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • A commitment to the values of inclusion, equality, and student empowerment
