Document Controller & Legal Team AdministratorTemp to perm for the right person£40k per annum equivalent9am – 5:30pmNear Liverpool Street Station5 days in office, ASAP startI am currently working with a leading financial services company, who are seeking a Document Controller and Legal Team Administrator, to help support their in-house legal team. The successful candidate will have excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word, where the ability to track changes and redline documents will be essential. What you’ll do:
  • Provide administrative support to the Legal Team
  • Prepare and proofread documentation such as non-disclosure agreements, variation margin agreements and powers of attorney
  • Monitor the team inbox, and distribute emails accordingly to the various team members
  • Conduct legal research
  • Assist with terms of business updates, including proof reading and formatting
  • Manage tracking system for contracts
  • Handle invoices and expenses for the team
  • Organise meetings and events
  • Arrange travel for the team
  • Support other departments e.g. prepare template agreements or check marketing content is in line with GmbH and European Compliance Teams
What you’ll need:
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a legal background, preferably within the financial services sector
  • Experience of using Microsoft Word to track changes and redline documents is essential
  • Organisational skills while being about to multi-task, prioritise and work within a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to liaise with customers, clients or colleagues with a consistent high-quality level of work and communication to uphold the image of the company
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Be a team player but have ability to work autonomously
  • Foreign languages skills would be desirable
