About Our Client:Our client is a specialist investigation and prosecuting authority focused on tackling serious and complex fraud, bribery, and corruption.

Responsibilities:

  • Systematically review documents to assess their relevance to ongoing investigations.
  • Contribute to the disclosure process in compliance with the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act (CPIA) 1996.
  • Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets of data.
  • Proofread and edit transcripts from witness and suspect interviews.
  • Provide support to colleagues and senior managers as needed.
  • Complete any additional tasks assigned by the case team.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Degree obtained in England and Wales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong ability to understand complex and technical information.
  • Familiarity with CPIA 1996.
  • Experience in large document review exercises and working with digital document review platforms.
  • Knowledge of the structure and operations of the client.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Criminal law experience or prior exposure to prosecutions or similar investigations.
  • A professional qualification such as LPC or BPTC (or equivalent).
  • Law degree obtained in England and Wales or a degree with a law conversion course.
  • Proficiency in French and/or Indonesian languages.
