An award winning legal 500 law firm based in the City of London is seeking a Legal Secretary paying up to 30,000 to join their fast growing team.
The position will be supporting the Banking, Corporate & Governance team with all of their background administration. Supporting the Partners, Solicitors as well as the wider team to help meet client expectations and company objectives.
The role will be working on a hybrid basis, 2 days in the office and the rest from home, but some flexibility is a must and dependant on client needs as well a deadlines.
Duties include the following:
- Audio and copy typing and document processing
- Formatting documents and any other relevant documentation
- Diary management for the solicitors
- General administrative support for the department e.g. archiving, filing, photocopying
- Receiving phone calls from clients; routing them or taking messages as appropriate
- Producing bills and dealing with invoices for clients
- Organising and maintaining tidy and accurate files both in hard copy and electronically
- to provide cover and support to the other secretaries within the firm as and when required. Flexibility is important as there can be considerable fluctuations in the amount of work produced by the solicitors.
The ideal candidate will come from the legal industry and have at least 2/3 years experience working in a similar role. You will have experience with legal documentation and audio typing of case files as well as following legal processes. Great administrative skills, a high attention to detail as well as enjoying working in a great team environment where you are the go to person for a team.
