Legal Secretary

Hours 9.30-5.30 (office based)

Location: Finchley, N3

Our client is a small, highly regarded, niche family law firm who are looking for an enthusiastic Legal Secretary, with experience of working in a law firm, to join their supportive, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive admin support to all Partners and Associates
  • Supporting fee earners with IT and where necessary liaising with our IT support team who are off site
  • Assist Partners and Associates in obtaining and collating client due diligence, as well as file opening and preparing client engagement letters
  • Support with correspondence, preparation of legal documents and client communications
  • Assist in answering the phones and greeting clients

Requirements

  • Administration experience in a law firm
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general IT operations
  • A keen eye for detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Strong communication skills with ability to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues
  • Experience in audio typing
