AJ Chambers are proud to be working with a prestigious law firm based in London, currently seeking a talented and proactive Paralegal to join their growing Commercial Litigation team.
This is an exciting opportunity to support a highly regarded practice group handling complex and high-value commercial disputes. You will be working closely with a team comprising 3 Partners, 2 Associates, 1 Solicitor, 1 Consultant, and 1 Paralegal, contributing to a broad range of matters.
About the Role:
You will assist on a variety of cases, including:
- Complex corporate and commercial disputes (e.g., contract and shareholder disputes, regulatory compliance).
- Commercial property litigation.
- Sports-related disputes (contractual issues, disciplinary proceedings, and regulatory matters - initially on a smaller scale).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare case summaries.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Assist with disclosure, document review, and evidence preparation.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date case files.
- Liaise with clients and counsel, managing updates and correspondence.
- Support the team during hearings and trials, including preparation of trial bundles and materials.
Candidate Requirements:
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in commercial litigation or a related field.
- Proficient in legal research tools and case management systems.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative, self-motivated individual with keen attention to detail.
