Owen Reed is looking to recruit a top Legal PA to support a Employment, Labor and Pensions team for a top law firm on a 12 months Fixed term contract basis.

Clients praise us for our ability to provide quality employment legal advice in our domestic markets, coordinate advice across multiple global jurisdictions and project manage matters from initial scoping through to completion to ensure a consistent, customer-focused and seamless service.

Whilst we are not reliant on corporate support (a significant portion of our work is derived from issues not relating to M&A and other corporate issues) we have a strong record of working on corporate deals, supporting clients with project management and co-ordinating advice from multiple jurisdictions throughout deals and subsequent integrations.

We overlay our knowledge of employment, labor and pensions law with the considerable sector experience we have gained. We work across most sectors and have particular experience within the technology, media and telecommunications, manufacturing and engineering, energy, consumer and financial institutions sectors.

Role and key responsibilities

Stakeholder engagement: Conduct regular one to one meetings with stakeholders to discuss actions, priorities, expectations and future planning. Attend team meetings to stay informed and contribute effectively. Act as a liaison point for both internal and external clients, draft clear and concise replies to incoming correspondence. Assist with client queries during stakeholder absences. Maintain a flexible approach and adopt hybrid working to accommodate stakeholder and client needs.

Adaptability and collaboration: Demonstrate client service excellence by being responsive to stakeholder requests. Support the wider PA team, covering for team members during absences or when required to ensure continued resource.

Efficient mailbox, diary and travel management: Proactively manage mailboxes and diaries including travel coordination. Anticipate future needs and take initiative to resolve conflicts.
