Sonic Summary

Summer-Browning Associates is seeking a Commercial Officer for a 6-month assignment in the Defence Sector, with the possibility of extension.
The position offers hybrid working options in London or Bristol and requires active SC clearance.
Candidates should have a strong background in Commercial/Procurement Management, particularly in public sector end-to-end procurement.
Experience with the Procurement Act 2023, PCR 2015, and sourcing IT/Digital procurement contracts within Defence or Central Government is essential.
The role may also involve using Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems, and candidates are encouraged to submit their latest CV for consideration.

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our client in the Defence Sector, who is seeking a Commercial Officer for an initial 6-month assignment with an option to extend

Location: Hybrid working - London or Bristol

Essential Skills: The ideal candidate will hold active SC clearance and a proven Commercial / Procurement Management background, with the following skills/ experience:

Experience in Public sector End-to-end Procurement.
Experience in the Procurement Act 2023 & PCR 2015
Experience of supporting end-to-end sourcing of Information Technology / Digital Procurement contracts within the Defence or Central Government.
Experience of supporting the development and delivery of complex Invitations to Tender, negotiations and contracts
Experience of using Qualifying Defence Contracts (QDCs) - Desired
Working understanding of Oracle Fusion or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning systems - Desired
