In this role, you'll teach apprentices in a modern, well-equipped training centre across Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. You'll deliver engaging classroom and workshop sessions, help apprentices develop core technical skills, and play a key part in building the next generation of HGV and PSV engineers.

This role would suit an experienced Heavy Vehicle or HGV/PSV Technician who enjoys supporting others, wants to step away from the tools, and is looking for a stable, rewarding career with long-term development into teaching, curriculum or leadership.



The Role:

  • Deliver training sessions in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Teach learners core skills in diagnostics, servicing, inspections, safety procedures and repair techniques
  • Help shape and update teaching materials and workshop practicals
  • Use your industry knowledge to bring training to life through demonstrations and real-world scenarios


The Person:

  • Experience as a Heavy Vehicle / HGV / PSV / Bus / Coach / Truck Technician
  • No prior teaching or assessing experience required - full training and qualifications provided
  • Confident communicator with a genuine interest in helping others
  • Willing to work towards teaching qualifications
