Lift Service Engineer (Nights)

This role ensures the safe, reliable operation of lift and escalator equipment across multi-unit sites. You’ll carry out maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and equipment improvements that help reduce downtime and enhance performance.
What you’ll do:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on lift equipment.
- Complete minor repairs and replace components in line with company procedures.
- Diagnose and rectify faults during breakdowns, ensuring equipment is safe and fully functional.
- Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and reinstatement of lift installations.
- Use technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and test equipment to restore equipment to service.
- Maintain accurate service documentation.
- Work safely at all times, following UK legislation and internal policies.
- Contribute to ongoing safety improvements and uphold high standards of conduct.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in lift servicing, maintenance, and repairs, including call-out work.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and confidence working independently on night shifts.
- Clear communication skills with clients, management, and inspectors.
- Full UK driving licence.
