About the Role of Supply Chain Executive

Haldirams UK is expanding its restaurant operations, and we are hiring a Supply Chain Executive to support the end-to-end movement of products from our manufacturing facilities in India to our UK central commissary and onwards to our outlets.

This role focuses on forecasting support, order coordination, inbound logistics, stock management, and distribution trackingensuring smooth and efficient availability of products across the business.

Supply Chain ExecutiveKey Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Outlet Coordination

  • Assist in preparing SKU-level demand forecasts for UK outlets.
  • Support weekly/monthly planning reviews and update forecast changes.
  • Compile outlet orders and adjust quantities based on availability, freshness and waste targets.
  • Track order fulfilment and highlight risks or shortages.

Production & Cross-Border Coordination

  • Coordinate with production teams in India on requirements, lead times and shipment schedules.
  • Raise purchase orders and track OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery performance.
  • Maintain accurate master data for product specifications, packaging, labelling and shelf-life parameters.
  • Support communication between UK and India supply chain teams.

Inbound Logistics to UK Commissary

  • Assist in planning international shipments (air/sea), documentation and customs clearance.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers to track ETD/ETA and ensure timely clearance.
  • Support compliance with UK import regulations including HS codes, duty/VAT, SPS and health certificates.

UK Commissary Operations

  • Coordinate inbound stock into the commissary and align with production and dispatch schedules.
  • Maintain FEFO and traceability across all materials.
  • Support inventory level reviews, expiry monitoring and reduction of waste.
  • Assist with stock counts, reconciliations and inventory reporting.

Distribution to Outlets

  • Support delivery scheduling and routing with logistics partners.
  • Track fulfilment performance fill rates, shortages, freshness at delivery and returns.
  • Ensure packaging, labelling, allergen and date coding compliance across delivered products.

Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Update ERP/MRP, WMS/TMS and supply planning tools with accurate data.
  • Prepare dashboards and KPI reports for supply chain performance.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, inventory, forecasting and cost-to-serve.
  • Help with SOP updates and documentation standardisation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or similar field.
  • 25+ years experience in FMCG, QSR, hospitality or food manufacturing supply chain operations.
  • Experience in demand planning, order management, or logistics coordination.
  • Good understanding of UK food safety, allergen and labelling requirements (preferred).
  • Exposure to cross-border supply and customs processes is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP/MRP or WMS systems preferred.
