Key Responsibilities
  • Lead regulatory and governance oversight for non-UK/US distribution activity across global markets.
  • Develop and maintain frameworks for financial promotions, marketing review, distribution oversight, and product governance.
  • Act as a key advisor on international regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with global risk appetite.
  • Manage a small international team, supporting day-to-day compliance, supervision, and business partnering.
  • Act as the chair for a governance committee focused on international policy oversight.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on regulatory change, risk remediation, and control enhancements.
What you’ll bring
  • VP/Director level experience in asset management compliance, governance, or regulatory oversight.
  • Strong understanding of UK/EU regulatory requirements for product distribution and marketing.
  • Exposure to APAC / Japan desirable (not essential)
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations into practical frameworks and advice.
  • Experience managing international teams or stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and risk judgement skills.
