About the client
Morgan Law is seeking an Interim Head of Finance for a subsidiary company of a local authority.
Accountabilities
- Work alongside the Finance Director and assist with the following:
- Housing repairs and project mgmt. management accounting
- Process mapping current end to end processes to understand where the risks are and work out how to improve them (including how they might work in a new system)
- Improving the management reporting process
- Assisting with contract pricing, budget and business plan formulation
- Reviewing the current system (Sage 200) and improving where necessary
Candidate Requirements
- CCAB or CIMA Qualified with post qualification finance / accounting experience within either a Local Authority or Housing Association (E)
- Experience working at Head of Finance level or above
- Experience in Housing Repairs accounting
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
