Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer – Up to £45,000
Location: Static Site – Mayfair, London
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (with overtime when required)

We’re seeking a proactive and dependable Maintenance Engineer to take ownership of the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and compliance of building systems within a high-end, client-occupied site in Mayfair. This role suits someone who enjoys working autonomously, takes pride in maintaining an immaculate building environment, and delivers a consistently high level of service.

Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM):

• Carry out daily walkarounds to inspect:

• Floors, walls, doors, and general finishes for wear or damage

• BMS, fire alarms, leak detection systems, and other control panels

• Plant rooms, lighting, and overall building condition

• Conduct weekly checks and maintenance of kitchen grease traps and shower traps

• Coordinate and schedule PPM activities with the helpdesk

• Complete painting and fabric repairs, including weekly office wall touch-ups during quieter periods

• Record all findings, escalate issues promptly, and ensure close-out of remedial works

  Reactive Maintenance & Site Operations:

  • Manage and prioritise daily reactive tasks using the client’s FM system

  • Ensure all follow-up actions are carried out efficiently and professionally

  • Serve as the main point of contact on site for all maintenance-related matters

  • Support out-of-hours works (evenings/weekends) when required, including supervision of special events

  • Join weekly catch-up meetings with the client to discuss ongoing maintenance tasks, priorities, and upcoming works
