Job Title: Shift Mechanical Engineer

Building: Corporate Offices

Location: Bank, Central London OR Green Park

Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts (No Nights)

Shift Hours: 07:00 to 19:00

Salary: 48,000 to 50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

What you'll be doing:

  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and other building services plant.
  • Responding promptly and efficiently to reactive maintenance tasks, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance work undertaken.
  • Liaising effectively with the client and other members of the building services team.
  • Identifying and reporting any potential issues or opportunities for improvement.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a commercial building environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and other mechanical building services.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
