I am working with an industry leading FM service provider who are actively hiring for a mechanical maintenance engineer for one of their flagship buildings in London.
Salary & benefits
Up to 45,000 Per Annum
Mon to Fri Days
25 days holiday entitlement + 8 days bank holidays
Duties
Planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of on-site mechanical plant and plumbing systems
AHUs - fault finding and strip downs
FCUs - fault finding and strip downs
Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals and fault finding
Maintenance/routine checks on sprinkler, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
Chilled and hot Water Systems
Plumbing maintenance
Generators - visual inspections and fault finding
Pressurisation units
Calorifiers
Heat exchangers
Replacing copper/lead pipes
BMS Operation
Requirements
Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ (or equivalent)
Min 2 years building services maintenance experience in commercial office environments
Physically fit - able to navigate a high-rise building
Client facing - able to work closely with the facility manager for the end client.
