Building Services Engineer - Prime Central London Location
Are you a qualified Mechanical Engineer with strong multi-skilled capabilities, looking for a stable Monday to Friday role in a prime London location?
We are seeking a professional and client-facing Building Services Engineer to join the on-site team at a prestigious commercial office building in Central London. Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive repairs on mechanical plant, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), pumps, motors, and associated pipework.
Performing essential water hygiene duties, including temperature monitoring (tap temps), flushing of little-used outlets, and basic TMV servicing in line with L8 compliance.
Undertaking general plumbing repairs and attending to leaks and blockages.
Carrying out multi-skilled duties, such as emergency light flick tests, lamp changes, and basic fault-finding on electrical systems.
Responding efficiently to breakdowns across both mechanical and basic electrical systems to ensure a swift resolution.
Liaising directly with the client, tenants, and building management, providing clear updates on works and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in a Mechanical discipline (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or Heating & Ventilation).
Proven experience working as a maintenance engineer within a corporate or commercial environment.
