Previous experience working in a customer facing, retail role is essential for this role. • Confidence in makeup application with experience in events/masterclasses is essential. • The ability and confidence to engage with customers to attract to the brand and recruit new customers. • The ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and department store team members to create positive activity. • Passion for makeup and understanding current and emerging trends that can be used to elevate the beauty experience. • A collaborative, approachable, and team focused approach. • Highly motivated, committed, and confident, with a positive outlook. • The ability to demonstrate an understanding of how to drive sales and adapt in an ever-changing retail environment. • Immaculately groomed and presented; you will embody the elegance that customers expect .

As a Makeup Artist for us, you are a brand ambassador. In your role you are responsible for achieving your sales targets while promoting the brand image and providing a personalised, luxury service to customers. Through your passion for makeup, you will showcase expertise in service and makeup application, delivering elevated consultations that inspire customers and colleagues alike. You will take ownership to drive the growth of the makeup category and develop your business by working as a team to achieve KPIs, build our client base, and recruit new customers to the brand. Whilst you will take the lead and drive sales of our makeup category, you will also be expected to promote skincare, fragrance, and hair products.

Bring the makeup range to life through demonstrating the highest level of expertise in makeup application, inspiring clients and colleagues. • Create exceptional experiences for our customers which are tailored to their needs, promoting skincare, makeup, fragrance, and hair products effectively link selling to increase KPIs. • To be knowledgeable on all products and confidently and appropriately overcome objections. • Demonstrate products on customers by means of skincare consultations, make-overs, protocols and confidently explain the benefits of each product. • To leverage on your emotional intelligence by means of consistently exercising your storytelling skills through educating your customers to our heritage and values. • Play a key role in building the counter database of customers through relationship building, data capture, and follow up / appointment bookings. • Take responsibility for your own sales performance on the counter, e.g. traffic stopping, planning and hosting events/masterclasses, contacting customers for appointments. • Support the counter Beauty Therapists to promote and gain bookings for the beauty rooms. • Support colleagues within the team to continuously elevate their knowledge and ability with makeup application. • Act as a true ambassador for us, demonstrating passion, and growing sales.
