The hotel provides the international business community with space for up to 3000 delegates across 33 meeting rooms. It accommodates both business and leisure guests in one of our 630 bedrooms.

Job Description
We are excited to be looking for aAssistant Reservations Manager (Maternity Cover)to join our team.We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hotel reservations, a solid understanding of revenue management principles, and the ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Reservations team in providing prompt, personalized responses to client requests while maintaining strong customer relationships and promoting brand loyalty.
  • Assist the Reservations Manager in implementing the hotels pricing policy, optimizing occupancy and average room rates, and contributing to revenue management and budget planning.
  • Keep accurate records of all reservations, update systems as needed, and ensure proper filing and documentation for auditing and reference.
  • Supervise group reservations from booking to invoicing, manage deposits and no-show charges, and assist in tracking and correcting reservations system discrepancies.
  • Communicate guest needs and reservation details to Front Office, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in training new team members, organizing internal meetings, conducting performance reviews, and fostering effective communication within the department.
  • Use every opportunity to promote hotel facilities and maximize sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Assistant Reservations Manager.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken (and a 2nd language would be a plus).
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in UK.
