Business Development AssistantSalary: £50K - £52KPermanent positionHybrid WorkingAbout the Firm:We are an international law practice advising major corporate and institutional clients on high-stakes transactions and disputes. With offices across Europe, North America, and Asia, our London office serves as a key hub for our global business.Role Overview:This is a hands-on position supporting a close-knit Business Development team. You’ll help coordinate pitches, maintain marketing materials, and drive thought-leadership initiatives. The role offers exposure across multiple practice areas and the chance to work on topics such as AI in the legal sector.Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and polishing credentials, pitch decks, and RFP responses under tight deadlines.
  • Updating and segmenting contact lists in the CRM; coordinating targeted mailings.
  • Posting blogs and client alerts to enhance thought leadership.
  • Keeping awards, rankings, and team profiles current on internal platforms.
  • Recording new matters and compiling data for BD reporting.
  • Supporting internal and client events alongside the Events Manager.
  • Conducting market and client research using specialist databases.
  • Managing intranet content and news items.
 Required Skills and Experience:
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
  • Prior BD/marketing exposure within professional services, preferably legal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to prioritise urgent requests and meet tight turnarounds.
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude.
