Company Secretarial Assistant

  • Location: North London
  • Job Type: Full-time permanent
  • Immediate Start – please note this is an office-based role working Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.

This role is crucial in supporting the growth of the company by ensuring client satisfaction through diligent compliance and secretarial duties.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide essential support to the Statutory Compliance Team.
  • Maintain accurate statutory records for clients on our Company Secretarial database.
  • Ensure timely filing of confirmation statements to meet deadlines.
  • Handle the completion of Company Secretarial tasks including the preparation of board minutes, resolutions, and forms for filing at Companies House to ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2006.
  • Manage the submission of documents to Companies House and HMRC Stamp Office.
  • Oversee the incorporation of UK companies.
  • Liaise and correspond with clients and individuals across all levels of the firm.
  • Manage client billing for services provided.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Prior experience in a statutory compliance support role, preferably within an accounting or professional services environment.
  • Positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
