We're looking for a Facilities Operations Assistant Manager to support our client at one of the UK's most prominent office locations in Canary Wharf (onsite 5 days per week).

As Facilities Operations Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all facilities-related matters at the Canary Wharf office.
  • Manage day-to-day operations including accommodation, catering, mail, records, reception, meeting rooms, and physical security.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee health & safety compliance, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to ISO standards (ISO14001, ISO27001, OHSAS 18001).
  • Monitor and manage service contracts and SLAs to ensure value for money and operational excellence.
  • Support the development of business plans, monthly reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion environmental awareness and contribute to corporate responsibility goals.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Proven experience in Facilities Operations within a corporate or large-scale environment.
  • Strong background in contractor management and health & safety.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing business needs.
  • NEBOSH working Safely certification would be desirable
