I'm working with a world-renowned London university that's hiring an Operations Manager to oversee its newest student residence, Robeson House, opening Summer 2025. This is a key front-line leadership role focused on delivering an exceptional residential experience and managing a high-performing front-of-house team.

?? MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:

  • Leading teams in customer-facing, hospitality, or residential settings
  • Delivering excellent service, managing KPIs and service levels
  • Experience using a Property Management System
  • Confident with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Managing rotas, reception services, and operational priorities
  • Handling complaints, solving day-to-day issues, and using initiative during emergencies
  • Adhering to GDPR, H&S, and emergency procedures (e.g., fire safety, first aid)

?? ESSENTIALS:

  • Confident communicator and collaborative team player

  • Strong organisational and rota planning skills

  • Calm under pressure, with excellent problem-solving ability

  • Committed to delivering excellent service and student experience

  • Aware of data protection (GDPR), safeguarding, and diversity policies

  • Willingness to support student wellbeing and take on Mental Health First Aid training
