Job Overview:
As a Facade Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities related to facade installations, including roofing, cladding, and glazing systems. You will ensure that all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of building envelope systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
- Manage subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 4 years proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within the roofing, cladding, or glazing sector.
- Strong knowledge of facade systems, building envelopes, and refurbishment processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage site teams effectively.
- In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations and experience implementing them on construction sites.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
