F&B Team Leader

As aF&B Team Leaderin our hotel you will be responsible for ensuring consistent quality of customer service is provided to the guests in accordance with the Luxury Standards.

To provide guests with a memorable stay experience that is personalized to their needs, throughout their stay at the hotel by ensuring that the team is responding efficiently to their inquiries and advising them of the amenities and benefits offered by the hotel.

Responsible for supporting team members on a daily basis with any queries and issues that may arise and engaging with them to ensure well-being and satisfaction. Has the responsibility to assist the management to drive and deliver positive results.

F&B Team Leader

  • Ensure you report for work punctually, in full uniform, name badge & meet grooming standards
  • Clock in at starting time of your shift and clock out at end of your shift
  • Comply with all relevant legislation governing hygiene, fire, health & safety at work and adhere to rules, regulations & policies of the hotel
  • Carry out cleaning duties as assigned to you
  • Adhere to all hotel brand standards
  • Attend training within working hours as required
  • Attend meetings within working hours when required
  • Work in other department(s) when required
  • Work any other duties as required by management
  • Carry out all duties with a positive, courteous & friendly manner
  • Proactively ensure both front & back of house areas are maintained clean & clear
  • Respond to any guest request or need, personally where possible
  • Attend beginning-shift briefing & complete end of shift handover
  • Proactively offer help to guests in need of assistance
  • Inspect all F&B areas daily to ensure facilities & equipment are clean, well maintained & replaced if necessary
  • Maintain regular customer contact & actively seek feedback & reinforce excellent Customer focus in others
  • Be proficient in all food & beverage procedures & be an active resource in all F&B depts.
  • Plan and co-ordinate individual outlet activities ahead, at least a week in advance to ensure the appropriate & service procedures & systems are in place to deliver five star service standards to our guests at all times
  • To supervise the day to day running of the F&B outlets, to include supervision of staff, ensuring all brand standards are being adhered to at all times.
  • To continuously strive to provide a five star level of service to our guests in line with the expectations of our brand.
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • It is expected that the job holder will have excellent knowledge of all F&B offerings in the hotel
  • They should ensure all equipment is fully stocked, in good working order, clean & polished.
  • Serve every guest in line with hotel F&B brand standards.
  • It is expected that the job holder will have excellent working knowledge of hotel point of sale system
