This role will fall within their BESS unit. This arm of the group is unique, specialising in smaller, localised BESS projects. This is a strength for the group, avoiding long wait times for transmission level connections. The role:
The position will be varied, working across the full project lifecycle from early development stages into project delivery and reporting. You'd also be working alongside a leader in the space with a wealth of experience, meaning that your progression will be supported.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Preparing and submitting grid applications.
- Liaising with various DNOs and other external stakeholders.
- Working with technical experts for project designs and planning.
- Working closely with internal teams, including development, grid and engineering.
- Monitoring grid applications ensuring they are able to meet milestones and be compliant to regulations.
Your background:
Suitable candidates will have a strong understanding and knowledge of the UK grid network. They'll also have strong interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for the sector.
