Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedMechanical Managerto oversee all mechanical systems on a high-profile commercial construction project. This role is responsible for managing mechanical contractors, coordinating with design consultants, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines, and maintaining safety and quality standards on site. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of commercial mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee installation and commissioning of all mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection on the commercial project.

  • Coordinate mechanical works with general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other trades.

  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.

  • Monitor project schedules and ensure mechanical works are completed on time and within budget.

  • Manage mechanical subcontractors, ensuring adherence to scope, safety protocols, and quality standards.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to track progress and address issues.

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and environmental regulations.

  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes for mechanical systems.

  • Maintain proper documentation, including inspection reports, as-builts, and system manuals.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in mechanical construction management, preferably on commercial projects.

  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical trades

  • Experience working with subcontractors and coordinating across multiple disciplines on active construction sites.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP drawings and specifications.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Proficient with project management tools
