Site Manager (Mechanical) - flagship London scheme

An award-winning residential developer is seeking an exceptional Mechanical Site Manager to take a key role on a landmark London project. This position is ideal for a hands-on, driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced site environment and takes pride in delivering work to the highest standard.

This role will primarily be site-based (around 80%), overseeing the mechanical packages during critical phases of the build. You will play a central part in driving quality, progress, and coordination across the project.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all mechanical installations during the shell & core phase.

  • Work closely with specialist subcontractors to maintain momentum and ensure high-quality delivery.

  • Monitor progress against programme targets and proactively resolve technical or logistical challenges.

  • Uphold strong health & safety standards and ensure compliance at all times.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, site managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to maintain seamless project flow.

  • Contribute to building a positive, productive, and collaborative site culture.



Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or similar M&E-focused role.

  • Strong technical ability with a proven background in managing mechanical packages.

  • Demonstrable experience working on shell & core phases within large-scale residential or mixed-use builds.

  • A proactive, hands-on leader with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Clear communicator with the ability to challenge, influence, and drive performance.

  • Solid understanding of current health, safety, and quality regulations.
