Mechanical Site Manager

Mechanical Site Manager – North London – 6-Month Contract – Immediate Start

We are working with a well-established M&E contractor who is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to deliver a large residential project in North London.

This is a 6-month contract offering stability and the opportunity to work on a dynamic, fast-paced project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring mechanical works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and sequencing of installations

• Monitor progress against the programme and provide regular updates to the Project Director

• Ensure all works are compliant with health & safety regulations and company procedures

• Maintain accurate site records including progress reports, site diaries, and toolbox talks

• Conduct site inductions and daily briefings for staff and subcontractors

• Assist with procurement of materials and coordination of deliveries to site

• Act as the key liaison between the site team, client, and head office

• Support and shadow the Project Director, with the opportunity to develop towards full project management responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager within the M&E sector

• Strong knowledge of mechanical services installation, including HVAC, pipework, and plumbing systems

• Residential project experience

• SMSTS certification

• CSCS card

• First Aid qualification

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Ability to lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors
