We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a key section of a high-profile data centre project based in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a critical project phase, delivering complex works in a fast-paced environment.
As Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for a designated section of the project, leading all associated activities-from design and procurement to commercial management, logistics, commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of your section in line with the Project Execution Plan
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client and internal management team
- Liaise with fellow Operations Managers to ensure project alignment and coordinated delivery
- Produce and maintain regular progress reports and documentation
- Anticipate and mitigate potential issues by forward-planning and escalating key risks
- Set and manage milestones and key deliverables, including contingency plans
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical background with the ability to manage complex interfaces and sequencing
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale MEP contracts
- Formal health and safety training (minimum SMSTS)
- Track record of leading teams through delivery on major projects
- Expertise in testing and commissioning of complete MEPH systems
