What You'll Be Doing:

As an Operations Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in managing our facilities and ensuring that everyone has what they need to thrive. Here's a snapshot of your responsibilities:

### Facilities Management:

  • Handle requests for ID cards and Salto keys.
  • Develop expertise in our department's floor plan and liaise with Estates regarding building maintenance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in communal areas, including kitchens and meeting rooms.
  • Distribute post and manage equipment loans, ensuring smooth operations.

### Stationery and Supplies:

  • Source and order essential stationery and office equipment.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure our stationery store is well-stocked and tidy.
  • Manage kitchen supplies and ensure our spaces are equipped with the necessary items for a productive environment.

### Health and Safety:

  • Act as a Fire Warden and First Aid Officer, ensuring safety standards are upheld.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain First Aid kits.

### IT Support:

  • Assist with AV setups for meetings and troubleshoot basic IT issues.
  • Manage laptop allocation and returns for new and departing staff.

### General Administration:

  • Support office moves and provide a welcoming environment for new arrivals.
  • Collaborate with various departments and be the go-to person for facility-related queries.
