Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a global infrastructure firm, on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work full-time, on-site, from our client's London office. Within this role, you will be overseeing and managing a variety of electrical projects, centred around a National Grid Substation, focusing on the development and installation processes.

-Competitive day rate ranging from 650-850 (depending on experience)

-On-site working arrangement.

Responsibilities:

-Manage all site activities ensuring that work is being delivered in a safe and timely manner, and remaining complaint to the project requirements.

-Ensure that all elements of the project are following the quality and safety standards set out for the National Grid.

-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineers, subcontractors, and clients), ensuring project requirements are being heard and met.

-Keep up-to-date records and documentation of all site activities, in line with industry policies and procedures.

-Assist in the delivery of SCADA and upgrades to automation systems.

-Conduct and sit in on site meetings, toolbox discussions, and safety briefings.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a relevant field, with a focus on power infrastructure and/or substations is ideal.

-Must be SMSTS certified, with a National Grid Competent Person (CP) status.

-Prior experience working on substation fields, ideally in transmission and distribution systems.

-Solid grasp of SCADA, control systems, and data automation processes.

-Strong communication and organisation skills, with previous leadership experience within a similar role.

-Fire Warden and First Aid training is desirable.
