Ridgeway & Co are delighted to be working with a highly regarded Main Contractor who specialise in cut & carve, structural alterations, and complex refurbishment projects across Central London. With a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging schemes in both the residential and commercial sectors, they are now looking to strengthen their project delivery team.

The Role:
This contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to play a key role in delivering complex structural alteration and refurbishment schemes ranging from £5m – £20m. You will be responsible for day-to-day site management, ensuring trades are coordinated, safety standards are upheld, and the programme is maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day site activities across cut & carve / refurbishment projects.

  • Supervise subcontractors and direct labour, driving performance on site.

  • Monitor programme and sequencing, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Enforce Health & Safety compliance, RAMS, CDM and site inductions.

  • Ensure high quality standards are maintained throughout the project.

  • Liaise with Project Manager, client representatives and stakeholders.

About You:

  • Proven track record as a Site Manager with a main contractor.

  • Experience in cut & carve, structural alterations, or complex refurbishments.

  • Previous London project delivery experience (residential or commercial).

  • Excellent leadership and coordination skills.

  • SMSTS, Black/Gold CSCS Card and relevant qualifications.
