This is an interesting REMOTE MARKET RESEARCH project for a fluent SGAW KAREN speaker and will explore religious and cultural issues in this interesting minority based across Thailand and Myanmar ( Burma) . The project is culturally sensitive and seeks insights that will help improve access to products and services that are relevant to the Karen community. The role is ideal for someone who can act as a bridge between the Karen community and the research team .
TITLE: KAREN (SGAW) Bilingual Market Researcher
SALARY 20 per hour + Holiday Pay (equivalent to annual salary of 34,000)
Length of booking : 2 months
Shifts: 1 or 2 shifts per week 14:00-22:00 (4 or 5 hours within this window)
Start date: asap
Location : FULLY REMOTE or on site at the office in the London Bridge area
PROJECT

The project is culturally sensitive and seeks insights from all household decision makers, and these are mainly female, who play major roles in food, health and hygiene related issues . The information gathered will help gain access to better medical and other support You will need to interview in a culturally sensitive manner.
DUTIES
- Calling local Karen speakers in Thailand and Myanmar
- Working from a script that is culturally sensitive
- Interviewing and recording information onto a database
- Report writing
