At Edwin, anything is possible when the right people do the right things. That’s why we’re hiring for a new School and MAT Partnerships Manager – a high-energy, commercially-minded professional who is passionate about people and purpose.

As part of our Partnerships team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the way we support trusts across the UK – connecting our expert services to the schools that need them most. Via recruitment, retention and operational transformation services – we wrap around the priorities of trusts, helping them solve their most complex challenges.

This is a trusted advisor role. We’re looking for people who love conversations, who understand education, and who are confident navigating senior relationships to build long-term impact.

Why this role matters:

  • 1 in 3 teachers leave the profession within five years
  • Recruitment and retention is the #1 challenge for MAT leaders
  • Staff wellbeing and culture is becoming a top strategic priority

At Edwin, we’re here to help. Our services are already making a huge impact – and now we want to go further, by building deeper, more strategic partnerships with MATs and schools across the UK.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead relationships with MAT and school leaders in your region – building trust and understanding their evolving needs
  • Work across our Edwin businesses to identify and offer the right solutions at the right time
  • Engage daily with senior leaders: CEOs, HR Directors, CFO’s, COO’s and other senior leaders.
  • Own a regional pipeline of activity – logging and tracking via Salesforce, and reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal teams and local branches to align on campaigns, opportunities and priorities
  • Lead outreach, proposals and bid development – positioning Edwin as the partner of choice
  • Represent Edwin at education events, conferences and networking forums – with professionalism and personality
  • Work towards monthly and annual targets that reflect your ambition and ability

What we’re looking for:

Essential

  • A confident communicator with gravitas – able to engage with senior trust leaders
  • A proven background in sales, business development or partnership management
  • Comfortable using Salesforce (or similar CRM) to track pipeline and performance
  • Strong understanding of the education sector – especially the structure of MATs
  • A consultative, solutions-focused approach to sales
  • Self-starter who can manage their own diary, workload and follow-up but is keen to work as part of a team
  • Resilient, ambitious and people-focused

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Education Recruitment, EdTech or other education services
  • Previous experience working with or in schools/trusts
  • An understanding of the competitor landscape in education services

Why join Edwin?

  • A Times Top 100 employer
  • Recently represented at the House of Lords alongside CST and sector leaders
  • A team of people who genuinely care about impact, and making a positive difference to the education sector
  • A culture that backs ideas, champions autonomy and invests in growth
  • A growing portfolio of businesses making a real difference in education
  • Uncapped earning potential

The education sector is evolving – and we’re here to support that change.
This is your chance to be part of something purposeful, ambitious and rewarding.

 Process:

  • Screening Process - Our screening process is designed to assess candidates in a fair way. This gives you an opportunity to share your skill, experience and passion.
  • Phone Call with the Talent Team - You will share a call with our Talent Acquisition team who will answer any questions you have about the role, our business and any next steps.
  • 1st Interview - This first stage will involve meeting your potential manager and team members.
  • Final Stage Interview - The final interview involves meeting a Senior Stakeholder in the business.
