Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and self-starting Tester with excellent communication skills. You will play a crucial role in our migration project from Cloudera (Hive) to Snowflake, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. This position demands a hands-on approach, requiring a technical understanding of the components involved.


What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage the Cloudera to Snowflake migration testing process.
  • Design and execute comprehensive tests to ensure data correctness post-migration.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams to maintain transparency and manage time constraints.
  • Utilise Python, SQL, DBeaver, and Postgres to support testing activities.
  • Engage with technologies such as Nifi, Airflow, DBT, and Azure Blob Storage as part of the testing process.

Must have's:

  • Experiencewith Cloudera and Snowflake platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL and testing methodologies.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to log in and understand system components.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Nifi, Airflow, DBT, and Azure Blob Storage is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Python and database tools like DBeaver and Postgres.
