This role involves managing goods receipt and issue, stock control, and maintaining accurate inventory records using ERP systems.Reporting to: Stores Team LeaderKey Responsibilities:* Safely store materials and equipment in designated areas.* Operate a forklift truck to load/unload deliveries, ensuring goods are handled with care.* Accurately record and transact inventory using the company's ERP systems* Maintain efficient material flows (receiving, put-away, kitting, shipping) in line with ERP processes.* Conduct inventory counts in accordance with Alstom's standards and targets.* Support logistics performance through SQCD (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery) initiatives.* Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.* Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, including safety tours and PGIs (Planned General Inspections).What We're Looking For:* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.* Effective verbal and written communication skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).* Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred).* Reliable team player with a positive attitude.* Industry experience and product knowledge are advantageous.
