Position: Chiller Technician
Location: London and M25
Job Type: [Full-Time/
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to reactive call-outs for troubleshooting and resolving highly complex systems.
- Work on various types of chillers, including Absorption, Screws, Reciprocating, and Centrifugal.
- Perform servicing with an optimization and efficiency bias.
- Coordinate on-site work activities for highly complex and multi-person jobs.
- Diagnose and repair system malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge.
- Oversee Health & Safety in line with client systems.
- Develop quotations for additional works and repairs as required.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Refrigerant handling qualification (C&G 2079).
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification.
- A time-served apprenticeship.
- Deep understanding of the refrigeration process and ways to achieve improved performance.
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing system malfunctions.
- IT literate and comfortable working with an electronic works management system (CAFM).
- Comfortable speaking with clients when required.
- Service maintenance and commissioning experience.
- Excellent experience with water-cooled and air-cooled chillers.
