The Role

We are seeking experienced HIU Service and Maintenance Engineers to support our Energy Centre Services operations. This is a hands-on role that involves working on high-pressure and high-temperature installations within district heating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair of HIU/CIU installations
  • Pipework repairs and associated fixtures/fittings
  • Meter replacements within HIUs
  • Minor electrical repairs within HIUs
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Attending callouts as required
  • Identifying and implementing asset performance improvements using market-leading optimisation software


What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Time-served mechanical apprenticeship
  • City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • IT literate and confident using CAFM systems
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing professionalism
  • Experience working on pumps, valves, and general HVAC equipment

Desirable:

  • Unvented hot water certification
  • Previous experience with HIU breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance
