Our client, a leading M&E consultancy, is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their London office, focusing on Data Centre design.
The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting or construction, with a preference for international business exposure and Data Centre design experience.
Key responsibilities include leading medium-sized projects, overseeing mechanical and electrical installations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Candidates should possess a BEng, MSc, or equivalent, along with MCIBSE/MIEE or HNC/HND qualifications.
The salary for this position ranges from £60,000 to £70,000, depending on experience.

Our client, a leading M&E consultancy, is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their London office, supporting Data Centre design efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate medium-sized projects, engaging directly with clients.
Design and oversee mechanical and electrical installations, systems, and equipment.
Conduct site surveys, technical reports, and validation checks.
Ensure compliance with functional specifications, regulations, and industry standards.
Make key project decisions and provide technical guidance to clients.
Perform engineering calculations and oversee design accuracy.
Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery.

Key Requirements:

BEng, MSc, or equivalent experience
MCIBSE/MIEE or HNC/HND with relevant expertise.
Experience in consulting or construction, with international business exposure preferred.
Data Centre design experience
