Mechanical Design Engineer - Water

SSA are currently recruiting for a leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who are looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their successful MEICA team, workingas part of their AMP8 frameworks for Thames Water & Southern Water.
The role will involve:
- Production of mechanical detailed design submissions
- Working with design teams in the production of design & construction drawings and documentation
- Liasing with civil, electrical, process and operations teams
- Producing design deliverables including, but not limited to, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, pipework layouts, pipework schedules, P&E schedules, Pipe supports/thrust design, Mechanical GAs and layouts
- Reviewing technical submissions
- Maintaining design input throughout project lifecycle, from initial feasbility thorugh to outline and detailed design, and construction/handover.
- Attending site meetings

Essential:
- Degree / HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering
- Clean/Wastewater experience (beneficial)
