Blueprint Recruitment are looking for experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to join a global engineering, infrastructure and project management consultancy on a predominantly remote contract basis in London.

The successful candidate will join an expert team, working on a mixture of exciting, large scale Residential and Commercial projects across the UK and Middle East, and will be given the flexibility to work from home 4x a week (1x a week in the office as standard).

What you’ll be responsible for:

-Developing detailed mechanical design drawings.

-Supporting concept generation and mechanical feasibility studies.

-Conducting design calculations and simulations where required.

-Collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project requirements.

-Managing design documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

-Engaging in design reviews and problem-solving discussions with a cross-functional team.

Key Requirements:

-A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

-Previous experience working on Uk and Middle Eastern based residential and commercial projects is highly beneficial

-Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering.

-Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

-Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects.

-A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for design innovation.
