Great opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our client's maintenance team on a fantastic site based in West London! You'll be joining a well renowned, highly respectable and long standing building service provider, be given all the necessary opportunities to progress further, on going training and valuable career experience.As a Mechanical Engineer, you will ensure all planned preventive and reactive maintenance is carried out on mechanical systems, actively troubleshoot / fault find, report into the Site Manager, liaise with subcontractors, respond to client needs and update site logbooks.The successful candidate in this role will be fully qualified in a mechanical related course / diploma (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), at least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance, a client facing attitude and great building maintenance knowledge.Mechanical Engineer Duties:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) & Reactive Maintenance
- AHUs & FCUs
- Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals
- Chilled Water Systems
- Pressurisation Units
- Commercial Water Systems - Tap temperatures, dosing, legionella checks
- Plumbing
- BMS operation
- Emergency call-outs (part of rota)
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- Fully qualified in a mechanical related course / diploma (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
- At least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance
- Client facing attitude
- Great building maintenance knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
Salary and Package:
- £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
- Continental shift pattern (Day and night shifts)
