Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Hackney, London
Remuneration: Up to 26 per hour
Contract Details: Temporary until 20th Feb 2026

Responsibilities:

Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices.
analyse customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to assess time and cost feasibility for project completion.
Collaborate with drafters to develop structural designs using various tools, equipment, or software.

Skills:

Strong creativity and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented team player with a knack for making sketches and engineering drawings.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Familiarity with engineering-related software, especially Computer Aided Design (CAD).
