As a Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer, you'll be joining a supportive team of 40 M&E Design Engineers. You'll report to a Director who has been with them for 15 consecutive years, an individual who is as technically strong as they are commercially aware; a great model for you.

What you'll do
- Lead the HVAC / mechanical systems design on commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects.
- Collaborate with architects, electrical, structural, and MEP teams to deliver technically sound, efficient solutions.
- Support project delivery from concept through detailed design and coordination.
- Mentor junior engineers and help shape the future technical direction of the mechanical team.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in Mechanical / HVAC design experience in building services.
- Strong technical skills in HVAC and an awareness of NZC and decarbonisation.
- Good communication skills, able to work in a team.
- Plenty of ambition, desire to grow not just as an engineer, but as a future leader or partner.
