Service Engineer
Location: London & surrounding areas
Salary: Up to GBP46,000 per year. Call outs are one in six weeks.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Overtime is available

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Service Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. Our clients main services they provide are Access Control, Video Surveillance Systems, Audio/Video Entryphone, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Smoke Vents, Emergency Lighting, Gate & Door Automation etc.
Responsibilities of the Service Engineer:
Corrective maintenance works - to include fault finding, troubleshooting and a first-time fix whenever possible
Remedial and small works
Preventative maintenance
Client on site liaison
Working with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre
Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail
Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines.
Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training
Participate in out-of-hours On Call Rota

Requirements of the Service Engineer:
Good communication skills with both customers and colleagues
Multi-disciplined Service Engineer
Team orientated
Strong time-management skills
Confident user of Microsoft Office and working with networked/IP-based systems
Proactive
Able to run works autonomously
The ability to supervise and motivate other engineers
Self-motivated and willing to use initiative
