Sales Engineer - Air Conditioning

Location: London (Office-Based)**
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm**

About the Role

We're recruiting for a driven and technically proficient Sales Engineer with a solid background in air conditioning to join our London-based team.

This is a key position for an individual who can manage the complete sales process from initial enquiry through to project completion, combining strong technical knowledge with a proven ability to develop business and close sales.

You'll play a vital role in delivering tailored HVAC solutions, liaising between clients, design, and installation teams to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard.







Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle - from lead generation and client consultation through to quotation, order, and installation handover.

  • Conduct detailed site surveys and technical assessments to specify suitable air conditioning solutions.

  • Prepare and present professional proposals and quotations.

  • Liaise closely with engineers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying new business opportunities.

  • Meet and exceed agreed sales targets, contributing directly to business growth within the London and surrounding areas.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and reporting.







Candidate Requirements

  • Proven track record in technical sales or business development within the air conditioning/HVAC sector.

  • Previous hands-on experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer (installation, service, or maintenance background).

  • Strong technical understanding of air conditioning systems and installation processes.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail across multiple ongoing projects.

  • Full UK driving licence required.
